Robert Risbridger


Born in 1799, the thirty-ninth year of the reign of King George III.

Life for horse stealing


Aged 24, sentenced to life imprisonment at Surrey Assizes in 1823 for horse stealing. One of 172 convicts transported on the Minerva to Australia, departing 08 July 1824

Given a Conditional Pardon on 01/02/1843 by the Australian Colonial Secretary's Office.
