Cleo was a Prudential Insurance Agent in Jackson, Benton Harbor and finally in Kalamazoo Mi.

Had a heart attack in his 40's and was told to get a low stress job or he would die. He and his wife purchased a small resort outside of Traverse City on Lake Lelaneau . The resort name was Happy Hours.

He loved to fish and enjoyed the vacationers.
