Daughter of Harold Mansell and Cecelia Doris Vaughan. .

Born in 1923, the thirteenth year of the reign of King George V.

Following her parents' divorce, Doris was never allowed to see her daughter again.
This photo of Olga aged around five was the last photo Doris had to remember her daughter by.

Family folklore related that Doris was forced to divorce as she refused to convert to the Jewish faith. However according to official records her divorce was due to adultery with Olga's father Harold winning custody of the child.

Spain

We have not been able to find out much about Pamela. She married a Mr Fay in St. Margaret’s Westminster in 1945, when she was 22. The marriage did not last, as she remarried in 1958 to Dennis W H Lurton. She was now 35, he was 34.

Rumour has it they moved to Spain, possibly after 1965 as Pamela was on the UK Electoral Rolls until then, and later got divorced.
