In 1799 Benjamin Risbridger is recorded as farming at Gadbrook Farm south of Betchworth, where his family continued to live until 1866.

Overseer of the poor

There is a surviving Apprenticeship Indenture for a Poor Child, Betchworth, Surrey - Joseph, son of Thomas Chart, to Joseph Chart, a peruke-maker and hair-dresser of Dorking, by churchwardens Thomas Russell and James Roberts and overseers of the poor Benjamin Risbridger and John Felton.
